چکیده
Ore passes are often the main part of sublevel caving transportation systems, and they use gravity to move material lower levels in mine. During operations, ore pass structures exposed risk stoppage failure, leading a long-term reduction operational capacity affecting productivity. The failed can be restored or rehabilitated, but rehabilitation cost is normally high time restore usually long. To minimize disturbances pass, alternative strategies should considered. appropriate design operation an crucial. Therefore, this study compared running systems filled, near-empty, flow-through manner using discrete event simulation. aim was compare performance impact on reaching daily 90-day production targets 76.4 Ktonnes 6.9 Mtonnes, respectively. results showed that mode, filled manner, near-empty achieved 96%, 80%, 81% target, In mining operations where used transfer material, them mode ensure higher fewer hang-ups, as it lessens chance blocks arching over chute throat leads less blasting.

Estimation of Concrete Paving Construction Productivity Using Discrete Event Simulation
The objective of this paper was to study and optimize the concrete paving operations taking place in the reconstruction project of Interstate 74 using simulation. To achieve this objective, field data were collected during construction, and were then used to determine adequate probabilistic density functions for the activities duration and to validate a developed simulation model. Upon validati...

متن کاملFaster Discrete-event Simulation Through Structural Caching1
We develop a structural caching strategy to improve the performance of simulation for a wide class of models expressed in high-level formalisms. By imposing a Kronecker consistent partition of a model into submodels, we compute once, and cache for future use, the effect of each event on each submodel. This greatly reduces the cost of processing events, updating the current state, and collecting...
